A man was beaten up by mob in Abaji Area Council of Abuja after he was allegedly caught with a vehicle loaded with stolen goats.

 

The incident happened on Thursday morning, September 24. According to an eyewitness, who posted the photos on Facebook, the suspect confessed to have stolen the goats from Kogi State.

Widow calls on police to arrest her husband's killers

  A bereaved wife has begged the police to arrest her husband's killers.   Aderonke Balogun, 25, narrated how her husband, Sulaimon Ajayi, was rushed to a hospital following an attack on him. He was later discharged but was admitted again when he developed complications. Man remanded for allegedly defiling minor

                                                  An Ado-Ekiti Magistrates’ Court yesterday remanded a 33-year-old man, Uchenna Igbwe, in prison custody, for alleged defilement of a minor. Magistrate Omolola Akosile did not take the plea of the accused, as there was no legal representative to stand for him. She referred the matter to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice, and adjourned the case till July 2 for mention. The accused, whose address was not provided, is standing trial on a one-count charge of child defilement.
