WHY WE ARE YET TO CAPTURE SHEKAU – DHQ

The Nigerian Military on Friday gave reasons why the elusive Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, has not been captured despite a huge manhunt and the capture of Camp Zero in Sambisa forest. The Director of Defence Information, Major Gen. John Eneche,  who spoke at a press forum in Abuja, admitted that there was a mix-up on the information about the capture or death of the Boko Haram leader because of the various faces used by Shekau. The Defence spokesman also said although the” real Shekau” has not been captured, the military is on the hunt for him and would soon capture him. Eneche: “There were so many Shekau faces, that was what was responsible for that but we will get the real thing, we have now come to know that the real Shekau is yet to be apprehended, so that is the truth, when Osama Bin Ladin was killed, they went further to do a DNA test, that was what happened. SECURITY LAPSES AT LAGOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

A man's account of the porous security at Nigerian airports should be a cause for concern. Aminu Muhammad  has expressed deep concern and fear about the porous security at Nigerian Airports which makes it easy for attacks given the upsurge in terrorism around the world. His concern stems from the fact that those in charge of security sometimes don't conduct thorough checks. We were four men in the car and I am obviously the smallest in size. I have six bags containing 12 laptops in my boot with another bigger bag containing cables and chargers. When we got to the security check point, all the guy asked was, "Do you have anything in the boot. I said No. I actually forgot I had those bags in the boot. He simply said, "Sauka lafiya Rankadade". HOTEL AND MOTEL SAFETY

Vacations and business travel make hotels and motels our home away  from home. It is just as important to be prepared and know what you  would do in a hotel/motel emergency as it is in your own home. Be safe When traveling! • Choose a hotel/motel that is protected by both smoke alarms and a fire sprinkler system. • When you check in, ask the front desk what the fire alarm sounds like. • When you enter your room, review the escape plan posted in your room. • Take the time to find the exits and count the number of doors between your room and the exit. Make sure the exits are unlocked. If they are locked, report it to management right away. • Keep your room key by your bed and take it with you if there is a fire. • If the alarm sounds, leave right away, closing all doors behind you.
