MERCEDES BENZ RECALL CARS IN AMERICA

Over 300,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles across the United States will soon be recalled because of a potential fire hazard. The company said the problem has been linked to 35 car fires in the country. Mercedes said its parent company, Daimler AG (DMLRY), determined that there's an issue with an engine part that can cause an electrical fire.  The recall will include certain C- and E-Class vehicles, as well as CLA, GLA and GLC vehicles. "This situation typically occurs in the rare situation where a vehicle is stranded in a significant amount of standing water and the engine stalls and cannot be restarted on the first try," a Mercedes spokesperson said.  Of the million vehicles to be recalled, 307,629 are in the United States. The company did not immediately have a breakdown of where vehicles will be recalled outside of the United States.

FIRE KILL A 10 DAY OLD BABY

A 10-day-old Ghanaian baby was burnt to death Wednesday morning in a fire outbreak at Filling Point, a town in Tamale Northen Region. According to the Public Relations Officer of the Northern Regional Fire Service, Nicholas Poku Aikins, he said a distress call was received about a fire outbreak at the said community at exactly 8:55 am Wednesday, March 1, 2017.  A few minutes later, fire personnel arrived and managed to extinguish the fire in less than thirty minutes. Sadly the baby was unable to be saved from the room where they left her. Parents of the little baby told 3news.com the baby was asleep when their one-bedroom apartment caught. During the fire incident, the mother claimed she was confused and rushed out of the room without the baby but later realized that the day old baby was not with her. With the cause of the fire yet to be confirmed, preliminary investigation points to an electrical fault.

GENERATOR SET SAFETY

Downed utility lines, power company blackouts, heavy rain falls or Vandalisation of power generation plants to power outages. Many people turn to a portable generator for a temporary solution without knowing the risks. 🔹Store fuel for the generator in a container that is intended for the purpose and is correctly labeled as such.
