Driver kills boss' children after kidnapping them and asking for 3 million Naira ransom

                                         A driver has been taken into custody after he allegedly kidnapped his boss' children in Lagos and stabbed them to death when his demand for a 3 million Naira ransom was not met. The suspect, who has been the family’s driver for years, went to pick his boss' three kids from school as usual last week but, rather than take them home, he drove them to a bush from where he called their mother, demanding a ransom of 3 million Naira. The mother told him she didn't have such amount and pleaded for the return of her kids. But the angry driver stabbed them all, killing the two boys and leaving the girl in critical condition. The girl who is the elder of the three siblings is in the Intensive Care Unit of an undisclosed hospital.

Schoolgirl, 14, who wrote to Russian President Vladimir Putin to complain about hardship is found dead

                                  A teenager who wrote a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin to complain about the hardship they were going through as a result of her mother's wages, has been found dead after officials reprimanded her family. Natalia Khatchenkova, 14, was found hanged in a block of flats next to her home. Local residents found her body and called the police. The police found a suicide note inside one of Natalie's pockets which asked for no one to be blamed for her death. But Natalie's relatives believe that her letter to President Putin was behind her suicide. In the letter, she had complained that life was too hard. After it was sent, her mum, who works in a state hospital, was allegedly scolded by government officials. Woman bites the genitals of a rapist who forced her to perform oral sex on him

                                      A woman bravely fought off a man who tried to rape her and forced her at knifepoint to perform oral sex on him. Nickoloas Samaroo, 21, broke into the woman's Queen's apartment in New York. Police said he knocked the 39-year-old woman out by punching and kicking her at about 3 a.m. on Nov. 9. The woman woke up and found Samaroo undressing her, cops said. She tried to run away from him, but he grabbed her and dragged her into the bedroom of the apartment. In the bedroom, Samaroo beat the woman until she was unconscious again. When she woke up again, it was to him holding a knife in her face, and he forced her to give him oral sex, cops said. She pretended to oblige then bit Samaroo’s genitals as he attempted to overpower her, and she was able to run away. Cops said Samaroo stands at about 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen running away from the apartment.

American woman allegedly kills her 2-month-old daughter by throwing her out of a moving car in Bali

                                      A mother from California has been hospitalized after she allegedly killed her baby girl by throwing her out of a moving car. Nicole Stasio, 32, who had worked as a yoga instructor and health coach, gave birth to her child just two months earlier in Bali but she allegedly killed the child then tried to later commit suicide. A guide and driver allegedly told local authorities that Stasio had been in Bali since July. Her parents had joined her for the first 10 days of her trip but they left before Stasio welcomed her daughter in September. On Tuesday, Stasio  planned to return to California. But, according to her driver Wayan Siaj and tour guide Made Arimbawa, both of whom had been with Stasio throughout the duration of her trip, she changed her mind and asked them to take her back to the town of Ubud. Police arrest man who robs ATM users in Anambra

                    A 30-year-old man, Obinna Okafor, who specializes in robbing users of Automatic Teller Machines, has been apprehended by men of the Anambra state police command. Parading the suspect before newsmen yesterday November 22nd, the spokesperson of the state, Haruna Mohammed, said Okafor was arrested at the Nnewi branch of Access Bank by policemen on patrol. “The suspect specialises in duping unsuspecting victims around Automated Teller Machine centres by swapping their ATM cards with other stolen cards in his possession. South African boy, 7, stabbed to death by older student in school toilet

                     A South African boy, believed to be 7-years-old, was stabbed to death in a school's toilet by a teenage student who attends a nearby secondary school. The teenager accused of stabbing the younger student is in police custody. The teenager is accused of hiding overnight, waiting for the victim in a school's toilet. The victim, a grade one pupil, was stabbed multiple times, the authorities said. The suspect was thought to have been in a relationship with the victim's older sister, they added. The young boy may have been targeted after the suspect fell out with his older sister, the local authority said. The suspect is a student in grade 11, which is usually for 16 and 17-year-olds, who attends a nearby secondary school. The victim was in grade one, usually for six and seven-year-olds.                                 An Ohio Judge who punched his wife 20 times in 2014, slammed her head against the dashboard of his car, and broke her orbital bone in front of their kids, spent only 9 months in jail before he was released. Now, he has allegedly stabbed the woman to death. Former Ohio judge Lance Mason was forced from the bench and served prison time for viciously assaulting his then-wife Aisha Fraser. He was released early from jail because he wrote an apology letter to his wife which she accepted. But, on Saturday morning Nov 17th, she was found stabbed to death and Mason has been taken into custody. The incident occurred at Aisha Fraser's suburban Cleveland home on Saturday. EFCC arraigns Kano governorship candidate, 1 other for alleged $1.3m fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on November 19th, arraigned Abdulsalam Saleh Abdulkareem, a governorship candidate of the Green Party of Nigeria, GPN, and Ebere Nzekwe, before Justice Lewis Allagoa of the Federal High Court, Kano on a nine-count charge of criminal conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of $1,320,000 (One Million, Three Hundred and Twenty Thousand Do llars) only. 3 people die, 8 injured during a birthday party clash in Bauchi State

                        The Bauchi State police command have confirmed that three persons were killed and eight others injured in a clash that erupted at a birthday party on Sunday night in Lushi Ward in Bauchi. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Kamal Abubakar, confirmed the incident saying that 75 suspects had been arrested in connection with the clash. He said that two houses were burnt during the incident and that the situation has been brought under control. He also said that investigation was going on to get to the root of the crisis. According to Abubakar, the crisis started following a misunderstanding among some youths at a birthday party in Kusu area of Sakani which later spread to other parts of Yelwa Ward. Nissan Chairman, Carlos Ghosn arrested in Japan for corruption and misconduct

                           Nissan chairman Carlos Ghosn has been arrested over claims of financial misconduct and alleged corruption. Ghosn will be sacked from the Japanese firm after a board meeting as he has been accused of "significant acts of misconduct", including under-reporting his pay package and personal use of company assets. Japanese prosecutors have yet to comment on Mr Ghosn's arrest. Nissan is the world's sixth-largest carmaker and its site in Sunderland is the UK's biggest car plant. "I feel despair, indignation and resentment. As the details are disclosed I believe that people will feel the same way as I feel today,"  said Nissan chief executive Hiroto Saikawa at a news conference.

Nigerian national arrested in India for duping people via Facebook

                                  Two people, including a Nigerian national, have been arrested by police in Prayagraj, India on charges of online fraud.   The accused used to befriend people and dupe them of their money via Facebook, said Naveen Tiwari, Senior Superintendent of Police.   “We have received a diary from them in which it is written that they have taken Rs 15 lakh, Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh from different people,” Tiwari added.   Besides that, the police have also recovered 10 mobile phones, foreign currency, and debit cards from the two people arrested                                                                                                                                                                         

Missing 300L student of Delta State University found dead with breasts and tongue removed

A 300 Level Mass Communication student of the Delta State University, has been found dead four days after she was declared missing.    The body of Elozino Ogege, who was declared missing on November 15, 2018, was reportedly found with her tongue and breasts chopped off.                                                          According to the report, her remains were found at about 2am, on Monday, by residents, along Ekrejeta road in Abraka. Doctors rescue little girl after Iron hook passed through her eyes (graphic photos)

This young lady was saved from getting blind recently after doctors were able to carefully remove an iron hook that passed through her eyelid. Although the circumstance leading to the accident weren't stated but according to reports, the girl was immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident where the hook was removed. An Optometry from Imo State University Owerri (IMSU), Hon Chidi Onyeji Zanders, who shared pictures online, wrote; “ Her Eyeball is still intact, She is a miracle child, Thanks be to God”.

                                                    Four young men were caught stealing goats in Umudara, Umunuko Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State.   The suspects were stripped, beaten and paraded with the animals they stole.

                          An unknown number of people have been wounded, including a police officer, after an 'active shooter' attack at a Chicago hospital. According to reports, the Chicago police officer was critically injured after gunfire broke out at Mercy Hospital, located in the city's South Side, around 3.20pm on Monday. Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the officer is 'in critical condition but receiving excellent care' at University of Chicago Hospital. The gunman reportedly targeted a woman who was dressed in hospital scrubs in Mercy's parking lot and shot her multiple times. An official said that fewer than six people were believed to have been shot and at least 'one possible offender' was also shot. Two policemen killed and several others injured in a bloody armed robbery attack in Ekiti State

                The Ekiti State police command on Monday confirmed that at least four persons were killed during a violent robbery attack on a bank in Ijero-Ekiti in Ijero Local Government Area. The robbers reportedly invaded the town at about 6 p.m. after workers had closed. They were said to have first driven to the police station in the town where they wrecked havoc before heading straight to the first generation bank in an ambulance containing a casket loaded with guns.
