Facebook user, Tope Boyede, who lives in Akure,  alleges that his neighbour beat her 2-year-old daughter to pulp with turning stick after she failed to count number 1-200. Read his post below..
"This little girl of two and half years did not fall or hit by a motorcycle, but she was brutally beaten by her mother with orogun (stick for turning Amala or Gari)  for not been able to count 1 to 200 ,this happened in my compound this evening, I didn't do or send it online because of this, but it has been happening repeatedly and I can't take it no more, Good people of Nigeria, help me to rebroadcast this until it get to an NGOs, I want this woman to be dealt with for treating her daughter like this for cry out loud, in case any NGOs want to get in touch with me for the arrest of this woman, this is my contact  07031312213. Eleven Nigerians die of COVID-19 in South Africa

  The Nigerian Union in South Africa (NUSA) Says 11 Nigerians have so far died of COVID-19 in the country.   In a statement released, the president of the union, Adetola Olubajo, said that the COVID-19 deaths were for Gauteng Province alone, adding that the union is yet to receive figures from eight other provinces in South Africa. He cautioned Nigerians who still do not believe the disease to do so and take all the protocols seriously.   “At the last count, 11 Nigerians have died from COVID-19 in Gauteng Province alone. Two herbalists arrested for fraud in Enugu State

                       Two suspected fraudsters, Akin Ogunsemi and Shina Fatola, who specialised in masquerading as herbalists to defraud unsuspecting members of the public, have landed in police net in Enugu. According to Punchng, the suspects are said to be indigenes of Ijebu Igbo in Ogun State. They were apprehended at Ukwuoji, Enugu, on May 1, 2018, by men of the police Anti-Cult Unit. Items recovered from them are some fake foreign currencies, charms and other suspected shrine materials.
