Police allegedly steal from NYSC member who died after being involved in a fatal accident



A serving youth corps member, Tony Zita, has died after he was involved in a fatal accident. According to a twitter thread shared by The Capital moverment, an organization he was actively involved in, a police rescue team who arrived the scene of the accident immediately it happened, stole form him and allowed the vehicle that rammed into him escape from the scene. FORMER BANKER CONVICTED FOR CYBER CRIME.

Justice Fatun O. Riman of the Federal High Court sitting in Uyo the Akwa Ibom state capital on Tuesday February 20, 2018, convicted and sentenced one Elijah Joseph John. John was convicted following a plea bargain he entered into as he pleaded guilty on the two count charge preferred against him by the Uyo zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.  While sentencing the convict, Justice Riman ordered him to be  of "best behaviour" for the next three years and also to pay a fine of N100, 000.00 (One hundred thousand naira) only. The prosecuting counsel Barr. N. K. Ukoha immediately thanked the court. The convict had since paid the N400, 000 to the owner. John who was a staff of Diamond Bank at the time he committed the offence, was dragged to court on charges bothering on computer related forgery, identity theft and impersonation.     An Arab influencer has raised a discussion about families marrying off their sons who are not responsible enough, to innocent girls.   He pointed out that it has become common and when the man's behaviour doesn't improve after marriage, the woman is blamed.   Abed Alii tweeted: "The worst crime a family can do is marrying their son, who they know is a scum bag, to an innocent girl in the hope he will miraculously change...   "My sympathies are always with the womenfolk.
