BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS BRIEFING/PARADE OF SUSPECTS 25/01/2018

In our unrelenting efforts to ensure safety of lives and property in the State, the Bauchi State Police Command under the leadership of CP SANUSI N. LEMU had during the month under review recorded harvest of achievements as follows :
1. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY, CULPABLE HOMICIDE, BEING IN POSSESSION OF PROHIBITED FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION SUSPECTS
Following an intelligence report received by the command on the activities of notorious Armed Robbery Syndicate that have been terrorizing innocent members of the public.
On 22/01/2018 at about 1200hrs a combine team of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) and Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU) of the command traced and arrested the syndicate in their hideout while planning to attack some strategic locations in Bauchi metropolis.
Investigation revealed that the syndicate operates in Bauchi, Plateau, Gombe and Nassarwa States and also FCT Abuja. They are also responsible for the following robbery cases in the state:
i. On 22/01/2018 at about 0200hrs the syndicate stormed Yuguda Village robbed one Maigyalla Mohammed 30yrs ‘m’ and Jafaru Abdullahi 20yrs ‘m’ of their Bajaj Motorcycles. They also robbed one Munkaila Tanko ‘m’ of the cash sum of N30,000:00, thereafter shot him to death.
The two robbed Motorcycles were recovered by the Command Operatives and will soon be handed over to their rightful owners.
ii. On 13/01/2018 at about 2200hrs the syndicate attempted to rob one Sadiq Ahmed Iliya 35yrs ‘m’ of Isa Yuguda Guest House Bauchi, of his Honda Motor Vehicle in the process they shot and injured a security guard in the area thereafter escaped to unknown destination.
iii. On 11/11/2017 the syndicate blocked Durum – Yuga road shot and injured passengers on the route and also robbed them of two (2) Bajaj Motorcycles.
iv. On 24/10/2017 the syndicate stormed Bidolo Village, Bauchi LGA, robbed one Abubakar Abdullahi 34 yrs ‘m’ of the cash sum of six hundred thousand naira N600,000:00 and shot his wife one Furaira Abdullahi to death. They equally robbed one Abubakar Adamu 40yrs ‘m’ of the same address of his Bajaj Motorcycle valued at N141,000:00
The suspects arrested are:
i. Ahmed Mohammed 52yrs ‘m’ master gang leader,
ii. Ibrahim Abdullahi 28yrs ‘m’ gang leader,
iii. Shu’aibu Adamu 52yrs ‘m’ gang informant
iv. Sani Ibrahim 47yrs ‘m’ chief planner,
v. Yakubu Musa 42yrs ‘m’ the gang organizer,
vi. Musa Isa 44yrs ‘m’ receiver,
vii. Zakariya’u Mohammed 24yrs ‘m’ member,
viii. Salisu Mohammed 25yrs ‘m’ member,
ix. Bala Ahmadu 30yrs ‘m’ Driver of the gang.
Exhibits recovered from them include:
i. One Ak 49 Rifle with breach number 10553,
ii. One AK47 Rifle,
iii. Two AK47 magazines,
iv. One fabricated Pistol,
v. Sixty four (64) rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition,
vi. Two live cartridges,
vii. One Toyota Carina II Motor Vehicle with reg. No. AG 656 FGE,
viii. One Vectra motor vehicle with reg. no. JJN 869 SN,
ix. Two Bajaj motorcycles one with reg. no. QB 351 NNG,
x. One Haujue motorcycle un registered,
xi. Master Key,
xii. Seven GSM Phones,
xiii. Two cutlasses,
xiv. Bunch of keys,
xv. Two face masks.
During interrogation all the suspects freely confessed to the crime and are cooperating with the Police in the investigation after which they will be charged to court as soon as possible.
2.ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY, KIDNAPPING, RAPE, AND CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY SUSPECTS
On 11/1/2018 at about 0900hrs one Isiaka Boderi ‘m’ of Gasu village Tafawa Balewa LGA reported to the Police that on the same date at about 0100hrs, five (5) gunmen stormed his residence and stabbed him on his head as a result he sustained serious injury thereafter robbed him of the cash sum of N5,000:00 and also kidnapped his two (2) wives namely:
Hajara Isiaka ‘f’ 20yrs
Asmau Isiaka ‘f’ 16yrs
The hoodlums then demanded a ransom of five hundred thousand naira N500,000:00 for their release.
On receipt of the report the team of Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU) of the Command swung in to action traced and rescued the hostages at Gasol Forest Tafawa Balewa LGA and also arrested the following suspects:
Ibrahim Yau ‘m’ 19yrs
Sani Abubakar ‘m’ 19yrs
Basiru Abubakar ‘m’16yrs
However during interview the victims informed the Police that while they were under Kidnappers custody the suspects raped them several times.
Exhibits recovered include:
one Dane gun,
10 Cows suspected to be rustled,
One Itel GSM Phone used for the ransom negotiation.
All suspects freely confessed to the crime and are cooperating with Police in the investigation after which they will be charged to Court for prosecution.
3.ARREST OF CULPABLE HOMICIDE SUSPECT:
On 21/01/2018 at about 1530hrs one Musa Bala ‘m’ of Ningi Town reported at Ningi Police Station that on the same date at about 1430hrs his younger brother one Habibu Bala used Insecticide chemical popularly known as (Piya Piya) and poisoned his five days old son by administering the chemical in to the baby’s mouth as a result the baby became unconscious, he was later taken to Ningi General Hospital where the Medical Doctor certified him dead.
The suspect was arrested and confessed to the crime and will soon be charged to court after completion of investigation.
4. ARREST OF CULPABLE HOMICIDE SUSPECT:
On 17/01/2018 at about 2130hrs, one Samaila Bulus 27yrs ‘m’ and Musa Bulus ‘m’ 25yrs both of Boloji ward Toro LGA, reported at Toro Police Station that on the same date at about 1930hrs, they left their father one Bulus Azi 65yrs with their younger brother one Nuhu Bulus ‘m’ 17yrs at home in the above named address but when they returned home at about 2045hrs they discovered that their younger brother the said Bulus Nuhu has inflicted serious injuries on their father’s head by hitting him several times with locally mold pot, pieces of wood and sickle. He was then rushed to General Hospital Toro where he was certified dead by Medical Doctor.
The suspect was arrested and is cooperating with Police in the investigation after which he will be charged to court for prosecution.

Broken pieces of locally mold pot,
Broken pieces of wood with blood stained,
Sickle.
5.ARREST OF FRAUDSTER (CYBER CRIME)
Following a complaint from one Captain Datti Adamu ‘m’ of Nigeria Military School Jaji that on 11/11/2017 unknown person hacked his Facebook account and keeps demanding money from his family and friends in the process he collects the total sum of five hundred naira (N500,000:00) through bank deposits from one Blessing Rabo ‘f’ 26yrs of Yelwa Ward Bauchi and other victims.
On receipt of the complaint, Operatives attached to Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department of the Command swung in to action traced arrested of one Abdulsalam Adamu ‘m’ 25yrs of Magaji quarters Bauchi in connection with crime.
The suspect voluntary confessed to the crime.

6. CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY AND OBTAINING MONEY BY FALSE PRETENSE
Following a tip-off on 18/01/2018 at about 1400hrs the operatives of State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) of the Command arrested two suspects Sadik Mohammad 30yrs ‘m’ of Adjacent Abuja House Jahun, Bauchi, and Musa Ahmed 39yrs ‘m’ of Gwallaga Mayaka, Bauchi, the suspect on 16/01/2018 conspired among themselves and defrauded one Gaddafi Isiyaku ‘m’ of Kandahar Quarters Bauchi, through phone conversation, the said Abubakar called the victim and informed him that he is a Demon and commanded the victim to drop the sum of fourty sixty thousand naira (N46,000:00) cash at a particular place in Gudum, along Industrial Estate Bauchi under the pretext that they are agent from particular Demon Dynasty and they will enrich the victim, where they assured him that the sum of twenty five million naira (N25,000,000:00) will be available for him to pick at the said point after the delivery of N46,000:00.

One half mold size sack,
N 20,000:00,
One black wrapped packet.
7. RAIDING OF CRIMINAL HIDEOUT/ ARREST OF SARA SUKA GANG MEMBERS:
On 20/01/2018 at about 2030hrs a combine team of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS)/Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU) of the Command raided a suspected Sara-Suka hideout terrorizing innocent members of the public at Bayan Gari, Yelwa and Jarmari Hotel areas of Bauchi and arrested the following suspects:
Muhammad Sani ‘m’ 21yrs,
Adamu Inuwa ‘m’ 23yrs,
Adamu Hassan ‘m’ 20yrs,
Rabiu Balarabe ‘m’ 20yrs,
Yusuf Danladi ‘m’ 23yrs,
Ibrahim Musa ‘m’ 25yrs, all of Bauchi metropolis.
Exhibits recovered include:
Ten (10) sharp Cutlasses,
One long Knife,
Twelve (12) bottle of Codeine Syrup,
Eight (8) sachet of Tramadol Capsules,
Two kilogram 2 Kg of dry leave suspected to be Indian Hemp.
8. ARREST OF NOTORIOUS BABELI SUSPECTS FOR ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE AND KIDNAPPING:
Following an intelligence report received by the Command that on 12/01/2018, the notorious Babeli Group had concluded plan to attack one Ahmadu Alhaji Ardo ‘m’ 27yrs and his entire family at Fulu village of Toro LGA of Bauchi State. Police team proactively moved to the area and at about 1430hrs the group in their large number surfaced on sighting the Police team they engaged them on shoot out, the Police team successfully over powered the group and arrested the following suspects:
Saidu Saleh “m” 29yrs
Ibrahim Musa “m” 32yrs
Salisu Isa “m” 25yrs
Yusuf Mohammad “m” 28yrs
Yusuf Shehu “m” 23yr
Idris Mohammad “m” 23yrs
Abdullahi Abdul “m” 30yrs
Mohammad Manu “m” 25yrs
Buba Manu “m” 30yrs
Hussaini Manu “m” 40yrs all of Gala Village of Ganjuwa LGA of Bauchi
Exhibit recovered include:
Two single barrel guns,
Nine dane guns,
Ten cartridges,
One kilogram of gun powder,
Seven cutlasses,
Two Knives,
Criminal charms.

Horror as a whistle blower uncovers horrific abuse Chinese company in Aba allegedly subject their Nigerian staff to

                                     A whistleblower has exposed the horrific abuse and discrimination he allegedly uncovered in a Chinese company operating in Nigeria.   The Twitter user said the company located in at Umuahala, Obuzor Asa, in Ukwa West LGA of Abia State, is managed by Chinese while most of their workers are Nigerians.     However, he said the Nigerian staff are made to work under the most "dehumanizing conditions ever known to mankind".   He reported that every Nigerian staff is expected to call every Chinese staff "Master or Mistress".   He added that "male Nigerian workers are physically assaulted, while their female counterparts are sexually assaulted without any consequence."   When a Nigerian staff errs, the Chinese staff allegedly employ the services of Nigerian soldiers to discipline them mercilessly.     He added that the government of Abia State is fully aware of the abuse but chose to remain silent.   He said the company "h

Third victim of Lagos helicopter crash has died

The third crew member in the helicopter that crashed into a building at Opebi, Lagos State today August 28, has died.   A Bell 206-3 helicopter with registration number 5N-BQW belonging to Quorum Aviation crashed into a wall between two buildings at 16 A Salvation Road, Opebi, Ikeja this afternoon. A statement from the company said all three occupants were crew members who flew in from Port Harcourt.   Two of the crew members died at the scene of the incident while the third one survived and was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital LASUTH. Sadly, he lost his life, bring the total number of casualties to three.
