60 Years of independence is not 60 month's nor 60 day's but three decades of years, we have come along way to achieve such a great feat together despite our flaws and mistakes. We fought and survived a civil war of three years that cost us dearly. We also survived multiple military coups before we saw the limelight of democracy. Still we are are still far behind our expectations as a great nation. My dreams and hope still remain that we will conquer all our limitations soonest.

Azubuike Ihejirika, a former Chief of Army Staff Anti-graft detectives at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, are questioning Azubuike Ihejirika, a former Chief of Army Staff, over his alleged involvement in the $2.1 billion arms procurement scandal, sources at the commission have informed PREMIUM TIMES.                                     Rapper, Meek Mill has been denied a new trial in a ruling by controversial Judge Genece Brinkley . According to court documents viewed by Pitchfork, the widely criticized Judge Genece Brinkley announced Monday that the court would be denying his petition for PCRA relief as Meek allegedly "failed to meet his burden of proof" when presenting evidence that one of his arresting officers had credibility issues. This comes after it was discovered that the police officer who testified at his original criminal trial years ago had his name placed on a list of corrupt Philadelphia cops. Moment a businessman was kidnapped in South Africa

  A video shared online has shown moment a businessman was kidnapped by some gunmen in Fordsburg, Johannesburg.   In the video shared by South African journalist Yusuf Abramjee, a man wearing a dark jacket was seen being taken out his vehicle by two assailants clad in white. They moved him towards another vehicle and made sure they all got in.    The kidnapped man has been identified as Hamza Khan.
