ZlatanIbile rescued by soldiers after being beaten by rival cultists


It was chaos, last night, at the Gateway polytechnic, Saapade, #Ogun State, as singer ZlatanIbile was beaten up on stage by suspected members of the Eiye confraternity.

Trouble allegedly started when the singer got on stage late for his performance. Matters, however, got worse because he was rocking a beret of his Aiye cult group. .

Angered by his effrontery, one Eiye cultist identified as #Ronaldo, approached Zlatan and removed the beret before attacking him. To prevent further anarchy, soldiers immediately moved in to whisk the singer away.

Nigerian police on Thursday,  paraded the 13 culprits that slaughtered 19 villagers and two policemen in Alawa, Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State. Briefing newsmen at the Command Headquarters in Minna,  Police spokesman, Jimoh Ibrahim said the gang confessed and admitted to have been terrorizing travelers and responsible for several attacks and killings in villages and communities along the Minna-Bida-Birnin Gwari-Funtua and Tegina-Kaduna highways and also responsible for attack on Alawa Police Post, where the two  policemen were killed late last year. EFCC re-arraigns fraudsters for cloning mobile phone of ex-custom’s boss aide

The EFCC has re-arraigned one  Usman Baba Yusuf  (a.k.a Usman Dakingari) and Balarabe Abdullahi for cloning the phone number of  Abdulmumini Bako , a former Special Assistant to the former Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Abdullahi Dikko Inde.   The defendants were arraigned before Justice D. Z. Senchi of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on a 4-count charge of impersonation and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of N2million. The re-arraignment followed the arrest of the 1st defendant (Yusuf), who had been on the run after the EFCC granted him administrative bail in 2016. Yusuf was however, arrested on March 24, 2018 in Kaduna after he had been declared wanted by the EFCC, on the order of the court.
