Disgraced American singer, R Kelly, 52, has been banned from a Danish radio network in the wake of sexual assault allegations against him.

The artist’s alleged long history of sexual, physical, and mental abuse of young women and underage girls including surrounding himself with sex slaves were last month detailed in the docuseries 'Surviving R Kelly'

In a statement by Bauer Media, which runs The Voice, NOVA, Radio 100, Pop FM, Radio Soft and MyRock in Denmark, reaching around 2.7million listeners each week in a country of 5.8million, they said they have barred Kelly after the 'very serious' claims.
As a radio we have a responsibility on who we give the airtime to,' said Bauer Media official Tobias Nielsen. 'It's very serious and we feel we can't have him on the playlists.'
This comes a day after R.Kelly announced that he will be going on tour to perform in Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. He is also scheduled to perform in Germany in April.

Lady killed after standing up to strangers who 'made jibe about her weight'

  A woman was shot in the face after standing up to a couple who had called her fat.   Amanda Nunes, 30, was attacked in the city of Belford Roxo in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro at around 6.30 am on August 31.   She had gone to the food stand at a market to buy breakfast when she overheard a couple talking.   The young woman reportedly heard them refer to her as “fat” and went over to confront them.   A row ensued and the male suspect slapped Nunes’ face, it is claimed.   When the victim reacted angrily, the man allegedly pulled out a gun and shot her in the face.   Nunes was admitted to the Municipal Hospital of Belford Roxo before being transferred to the Hospital Geral de Nova Iguacu – Hospital da Posse.   She was later pronounced dead in the intensive care unit.     The local authorities have confirmed they are investigating the incident and are currently reviewing CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to help identify the...
