Two people, including a Nigerian national, have been arrested by police in Prayagraj, India on charges of online fraud.
 
The accused used to befriend people and dupe them of their money via Facebook, said Naveen Tiwari, Senior Superintendent of Police.
 
“We have received a diary from them in which it is written that they have taken Rs 15 lakh, Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh from different people,” Tiwari added.
 
Besides that, the police have also recovered 10 mobile phones, foreign currency, and debit cards from the two people arrested

Lagos state government revokes 2018 land use charge

                                             The Lagos State Government has canceled the 2018 land use charge. The state Commissioner for Finance, Rabiu Olowo, announced this at a press briefing which held today, August 5. He said the government is also reverting to pre-2018 land use charges. Two friends arrested for allegedly gangraping 17-year-old girl in Jigawa

  Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State Command, have arrested two men, Abubakar Usman (18yrs) and Ya'u Sa'idu (20yrs) both of Gidan Ruwa Quarters, Kazaure LGA for allegedly gangraping a Seventeen (17) year old girl of the same address.   A statement released by the spokesperson of the command, Adamu Shehu, says the two friends connived and gained unlawful entry into the family house of the victim on Wednesday, 9th September 2020 around 4am.   ''They met her asleep in her room with her two sisters.
