An APC chairmanship aspirant at Jeremi Ward 10 (III), Ughelli South Local Government, Jeremiah
Oghoveta, was stabbed to death during the party ward congress today May 5th.
According to reports, Jeremiah was stabbed to death near God’s Grace Ministry at Okwagbe Town allegedly by the younger brother of one the leaders of the party in the area.

Jeremiah had witnessed the hijacking of electoral materials by some members of the party and had protested. In anger, one of the party members engaged him in a fight and in the process stabbed him in the neck. The suspected killer fled the scene afterwards.

Photos of the 22-year-old woman mauled to death by a lion in South Africa

-year-old Megan van der Zwan was mauled to death by a lioness in a game reserve near Hammanskraal, South Africa on February, 27. The former student at the University of Pretoria, had accompanied her friend to conduct an interview for an assignment at the Kevin Richardson’s Wildlife Sanctuary, located at the Welgedacht Private Game Reserve outside Pretoria. Police spokesperson Constable Connie Mohanedi said the lioness attacked the pair as they were approaching their car to leave. Mohanedi said an inquest docket was opened, but would not give much information “as the investigation is at a “sensitive stage”. According to reports Megan and her friend were visiting the game reserve belonging to "lion whisperer" Kevin Richardson. They wanted to interview the camp manager.   In photos posted on Facebook, a primary school pupil identified as Ismail Yusuf is seen posing in front of his "shopping Complex" in Rano Town, Kano State.   It was gathered that the little boy opened the small shop with money and goods contributed by well meaning Nigerians after he was spotted selling seasonings in a carton.     The young boy had expressed interest in starting a business in order to help his family.   See  more photos below...
