300L female student crushed to death by truck after falling off Okada on the way to school in Ogun State


A 300 Level student of the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State was crushed to death by a truck on Wednesday morning.
It was gathered that the deceased, Kofoworola Kuku fell off a commercial motorcycle conveying her to school along the expressway and was instantly crushed to death by an oncoming trailer.

Friends and colleagues have taken to facebook to mourn the death of the late Health Education student. One Opeyemi wrote:
"It's just been a very sad day for we Napher SD
A very humble,calm, course mate, friend and sister
I just believe that we love you but God loves you most

When we are already planning to go for our T.P by Sept
Rest in perfect peace"

The Oyo state govt cancels curfew

  The Oyo State government has announced the cancellation of the 10pm to 4am curfew earlier imposed on the state as part of measures to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus.   A statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Makinde,Taiwo Adisa, on Thursday September 3, says the state government decided to abolish the curfew after series of reviews.   According to the statement, the decision to abolish the curfew was premised on the need to reduce the burden on business owners in the state who have been adversely affected by the curfew.   The government noted that statistics show that COVID-19 cases were declining in the state.
