Breaking: Winnie Mandela has died at the age of 81
Anti-apartheid activist, Nomzamo Winifred Madikizela-Mandela‚ has died at the age of 81.
Her Personal Assistant‚ Zodwa Zwane‚ who confirmed the struggle veteran’s death on Monday afternoon, April 2, said the family would be issuing a statement later in the day.
Born in Bizana in the Eastern Cape in 1936‚ she moved to Johannesburg to study social work after matriculating.
She met lawyer and anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela in 1957 and they were married a year later. They had two children together.
However‚ her marriage life with Mandela was short-lived‚ as he was arrested in 1963 and sentenced to life imprisonment for treason. Mandela was eventually released in 1990.

The prime suspect in Arotile's death to face culpable homicide

Nehemiah Adejor, the prime suspect who drove the car that killed Nigeria’s first female fighter helicopter, Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, is now to be charged for culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy.    This is coming after two of the three suspects arrested in connection to the Air Force officer's death, were set free by Kaduna State Magistrate Court 1.   Though the police noted that there is no premeditation in the death of Arotile, when the case came up on Thursday August 20, the prosecution Counsel DSP Martins D.                       A group of Iranian women have defied the laws of their land by wearing fake beards and dressing as men in order to watch a soccer match from inside the Azadi Stadium in Tehran.
