Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Kill 3 people in fresh Plateau attack

Three people have been reported killed in a fresh attack that occurred last night as gunmen suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen attacked Dong Community of Jos North LGA in Plateau State.

The suspected Herdsmen attacked the community when they laid ambush on the vigilante group of the community shooting sporadically last night around 9 pm.

It would be recalled that Dong Kassa, Jos North LGA and Rafiki Village in Basa were simultaneously attacked last week where about 8 security personnel and more than 25 civilians were killed in the attack while COCIN church also was set ablaze by the attackers.

The Police Public Relation officer of the Plateau State Command DSP Matthias Terna said he is yet to get more details of the attacks by the Divisional Police officer of the Area.

“I was told there was an incident at Dong, but am still yet to details from the Divisional Police officer of the Area, as soon as that is done I will let you know”, he said.

4-year-old boy and his mum are found dead with their bodies 'eaten by animals' in Italy

Police in Italy are investigating the death of a 4-year-old boy and his mother who both went missing before they were found dead with their bodies 'eaten by animals' in Sicily. The corpse of DJ Viviana Parisi and her son Gioele Mondello, 4, were found five days apart after they went on an apparent shopping trip on August 3. Her grey Opel Corsa crashed with a van carrying a group of workers, which left Ms Parisi's car with a punctured tyre. Viviana's lifeless body was found on August 8 in a woodland close to Caronia, not far from her abandoned car. According to Mirror UK, she had a broken arm and animal bites.
