The man accused of stealing the Oscar statue won by Frances McDormand, has pleaded not guilty to theft at a court in Los Angeles.
Terry Bryant, 47, was arrested on Sunday night after actress McDormand's award went missing briefly at the lavish Governors Ball party in Hollywood, where Academy Award winners have their statuettes engraved.

In a video posted by Bryant, he is seen in a tuxedo at the event holding an Oscar statuette and telling other guests he was a winner. He then kissed the statue. It is not clear in what capacity he was attending the event, but police said he had a ticket.

Following his arrest, Bryant was in police custody on a grand theft charge and was being held on $20,000 bond. After Wednesday's court arraignment, Bryant was released without bail after the judge ruled that he did not pose a flight risk. He is due back in court later this month.

A Nigerian nanny has been found guilty of murdering an 8-month-old baby by force-feeding her half a pint of milk in less than 30 seconds. Oluremi Adeleye, 73, was trusted with the care of 8-month-old Enita Salubi in Maryland. But the nanny was captured on a nanny cam taking the teat off a bottle as she forced the child to guzzle down baby formula in October 2016. Nigerian man wanted by FBI for $5 million fraud, offer $1000 reward

The United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information directly leading to the arrest of a 32-year-old Nigerian man Kelechi Declan James, for allegedly scamming victim of more than $5 million. A statement on FBI website says its "agents are looking for the public’s assistance in locating Kelechi Declan James.
