26-year old Basketball player, Zeke Upshaw dies after collapsing on court during G-League game

Grand Rapids Drive forward, Zeke Upshaw died on Monday morning after he collapsed during the team's G League game on Saturday against the Long Island Nets at DeltaPlex Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was 26.

The Drive provided a statement from Jewel Upshaw, the Chicago native's mother saying "After continued efforts from the medical team at Spectrum Health, Zeke made his transition at 11:16 a.m. To family, friends, teammates, coaches, fans and confidants, thank you for your prayers and support during this most difficult time."

It was reported that Upshaw went into cardiac arrest on Saturday during the game. A cause of death was not immediately released.

Police rescue young lady from the hands of ritualists in Delta State

Officers of the Delta State police command, on Thursday, rescued a lady from suspected kidnappers/ritualists in Asaba. The lady was said to be returning from Ogbegonogo market when she boarded their tricycle. Two other gang members later joined her from both sides, leaving her in the middle. Trouble, however, started when the rider refused to stop at the victim’s destination, forcing her to raise an alarm that attracted some policemen who gave them a hot chase and eventually rescued the girl and arrested the suspects. Two lovers dismembered man to use his fingerprints to steal $77,120

Prosecutors in Portugal have alleged two lesbian lovers dismembered a man so they could use his fingerprints to access his mobile phone and steal $77,120 from his bank account. Killing of nearly 100 people in Plateau ‘retaliatory’ — Miyetti Allah

Saturday’s mass killing of at least 86 people who were attending a funeral event in Plateau state was an act of revenge following an earlier attack, the cattle rearers’ group, Miyetti Allah, has said.
