wraps of Indian hemp during a stop-and-search
exercise by the police in Calabar. Cross River State. .
According to Punchng, he was arrested after he
bolted out of a vehicle and attempted to escape on
sighting the police checkpoint.
Police in Zaria city arrested Bilyaminu Saidu 33years, a gun runner, bandit & logistics supplier. He was arrested with 4 AK-47 rifles, 344 rounds of live ammunition & one motorcycle. Bilyaminu is an indigene of Shuwaki village in Bakori LGA of Katsina state.

According to a report, there were “about 50 fire outbreaks recorded in a space of one week and 40 of them occurring in Lagos State alone.” Following a major fire outbreak at a plastic factory in Oshodi, Lagos, the Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, Seyi Oladejo, reportedly said the state recorded about 40 fire incidents in two days, between February 17 and 19.
