Air Force joins battle against herdsmen

  • The Air Force will join the military operations against killer-herdsmen and militia in Benue, Taraba and Nasarawa, Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar said yesterday.

He said the intervention of the NAF would be through the establishment of Forward Operational Base (FOB) in Taraba state and Quick Response Wing along Benue and Nasarawa axis.
A statement signed by Director of Public Relations and Information of the NAF, Air Vice Marshal Olatokunbo Adesanya, said the Air Chief said the developments were part of an elaborate efforts to address the security challenges.
The statement reads: “Air Marshal Abubakar also spoke on the current and likely threats as well as contingencies from the perspective of air operations. Some of the initiatives included but are not limited to the establishment of new commands and some units, improvement in human capacity development, improved aircraft serviceability and logistics support as well as enhanced personnel welfare.”

John Boyega ends ambassadorial deal with Jo Malone after being cut out of an advert for the Chinese market

  Nigerian-born British actor, John Boyega has ended his ambassadorial deal with London cosmetics brand, Jo Malone, after being cut out of an advert he conceived, directed and starred in for the Chinese market.    Boyega was replaced by Liu Haoran after the commercial was recast and reshot for the Chinese market. How missing Lagos teenage girl was hidden by neighbour for sex then he joined her parents to search for her

A 14-year-old girl was declared missing by her parents in Lagos, not knowing that she was in a 43-year-old neighbour's room and they were having sex for two days. The incident happened at Suberu Oje Avenue by Casso bus stop in Alagbado, Lagos where they resided.
