Boko Haram Kills Another Army Lieutenant, Police Sergeant

In continuation of their onslaught against Nigerian communities and soldiers in the Northeast, Boko Haram insurgent on Wednesday evening killed a Nigerian Army lieutenant during an ambush in Borno State. A security source in Maiduguri says Boko Haram terrorists killed a Nigerian army Lieutenant in an attack in Magumeri town in Magumeri Local Government Area of Borno State. The source said the militants ambushed Lieutenant AC Oguntoye and his colleagues on their way to Gubio from a shooting range competition in Monguno. The officers were pinned down by terrorists in Magumeri where they razed down houses, including a police station in the town. Nigerian police arrest two Ghanaians for robbing a truck driver with acid in Edo State

                                         The Intelligence Response Team (IRT) has confirmed the arrest of two Ghanaians for allegedly robbing a truck driver of his vehicle and goods with acid. The Force spokesman, DCP Jimoh Moshood confirmed the arrest to newsmen in Lagos, stressing that the suspects carried out the crime in Edo on December 9, while they were arrested in Enugu State. Moshood said that the suspects allegedly poured raw acid on Taiwo Adesanya after robbing him at the Olukwu area of Benin City of his truck with goods. He said that the suspects, Eric Aidan and Matthew Kwasha, are notorious criminals who specialise in killing their victims with raw acid after dispossessing them of their belongings, especially vehicles.
