There's 'absolutely no chance' of finding Emiliano Sala or Pilot David Ibbotson alive' - Pilot in search of the missing plane says

A pilot who has been amongst those searching for the missing plane carrying footballer Emiliano Sala has said there is ‘no chance’ of finding the footballer or the pilot of the plane alive.
The search for the missing plane carrying Sala resumed Thursday morning after the search was suspended on Wednesday in the English Channel.
Mike Tidd, from Channel Islands Air Search, said this afternoon:
The area has been very well covered, there is absolutely no chance of finding anybody alive now, the only thing that we might be able to do would be to pinpoint where the aircraft went in, but I think the radar trace is going to be the best opportunity of doing that.

Sala and pilot David Ibbotson were on board the Piper PA-46 Malibu plane when it disappeared from radar en route from Nantes in France to Cardiff on Monday evening.

Rescue workers looking for the missing plane have found ‘no trace’ of the aircraft or its occupants, Guernsey Police said.
