Four-time Asian Games gold medallist and 2016 world indoor 400m champion, Kemi Adekoya who currently represents Bahrain has tested positive for an anabolic steroid.

The 25-year-old who was born in Nigeria but switched allegiance to Bahrain in 2014, has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for the banned substance stanozolol, the Athletics Integrity Unit has announced.

Confirming a ‘notice of allegation’ against the athlete, the Athletics Integrity Unit stated that Adekoya tested positive for the anabolic steroid in November, 2018.

EFCC to arraign Ex-Kebbi State Governor, Usman Dakingari over alleged N450m fraud on December 6

                                       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, will on December 6, 2018 arraign a former governor of Kebbi State, Usman Saidu Dakingari before a Federal High Court, Birnin-Kebbi, on a 13-count charge of conspiracy and money laundering.                                          A Nigerian man, Izuchukwu Daniel Eze, has died in Dubai where he resides. According to his friend, O.D Nwankwo who took to Facebok to mourn him, Eze was a barber and also a footballer in Dubai. He was playing football with his friends when he slumped and died. He was rushed to the hospital but sadly, he died before medical help could get to him.
