                      Gunmen abduct wife, six children of Zamfara commissioner
The wife and six children of Zamfara State commissioner for youth, sports and skills acquisition, Abdullahi Gurbin Bore, were abducted in the early hours of today Tuesday May 22nd. The gunmen according to eyewitnesses, stormed the home of the government official, shooting sporadically as they forced the woman and the six children into a waiting car.
Zamfara state has witnessed a number of attacks from armed bandits and cattle rustlers.
