Bride's helicopter crash lands at her wedding and she still goes ahead with nuptials

A bride was lucky to escape unhurt after the helicopter she was travelling in crashed at her wedding.
As the helicopter was landing on Saturday afternoon at a venue near São Paulo, Brazil, it lost control and crashed. The crash and the resultant fire was caught on video.

In the video, wedding guests are seen waiting on the helicopter to land. They stood, looking towards the aircraft as it came closer, then cries of terror erupted as the helicopter lost control and crashed close to where guests were sitting. Another shocking footage from the scene shows the helicopter in flames.

Fortunately, all four people on board survived. The pilot and members of the wedding party suffered minor scrapes in the crash, but the bride escaped without a single scratch. All the passengers managed to get out of the helicopter before it burst into flames in front of horrified wedding guests.

The bride went ahead with her wedding immediately after the near-death experience. The couple said their vows at the vineyard while the wreckage of the plane was still smoking behind them.

Court orders PDP to pay N180 million to a lawyer for successfully handling their cases

Today, Justice Jude Okeke of the FCT High Court, Maitama ordered the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pay N180 million to Samuel Okutepa being his professional fee. Okeke who delivered judgment in a suit filed by Okutepa against the PDP, said Okutepa deserved to be paid the money for handling the cases for the party.  “The defendant is directed to pay the claimant N180 million being the earned professional fee for defending and prosecuting their cases listed out in the applicant’s statements of claims.’’   The court also ordered PDP to pay N50,000 to Mr Okutepa, a senior advocate of Nigeria, for successfully handling the cases. The judge held that it was not right for the PDP not to pay for the work they knew was well handled by the plaintiff.
