At least five people have died and one was seriously injured after a helicopter crashed in northern New Mexico.  

Elizabeth Armijo of the New Mexico State Police says six people were aboard the helicopter on Wednesday evening when it went down in a mountainous area but that no additional information was immediately available about the victims or circumstances of the crash.  

The helicopter crashed about 15 miles (24 kilometers) east of the small city of Raton (rah-TOHNE’) near the Colorado state line. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford said the helicopter was a Huey UH-1. He says information on its registration isn’t available.  Raton is 175 miles (282 kilometers) northeast of Albuquerque.

A pastor Adetokunbo Adenopo arrested for kidnapping

                        A 52 year-old pastor in Sagamu, Ogun state, Adetokunbo Adenopo, has been arrested by detectives attached to the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) for kidnapping. The pastor who the police said is the founder and general overseer of New Life Ministry, in Lukosi, Sagamu in Ogun state was arrested along with three other members of his gang. The police identified the three suspects as Chigozie Williams 22years, native of Umuahia North, Abia State, Ugoji Linus 30years, native of Ezinifite in Imo State and Emmanuel Chris Ani, 27years, native of Aniri in Enugu State. They were all arrested in connection with the kidnap of a 35 year-old Jonathan Ekpo, staff of a delivery company. Ekpo, from Benue state was kidnapped on 17 July when he came to Sagamu to deliver goods. EFCC Arraigns Two Access Bank Staff for £100,000 Fraud

Suspect                                                 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Kaduna Zonal Office on January 24, 2019 arraigned three suspected fraudsters and their company before Justice Z.B. Abubakar of the Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna on a two-count charge bordering of conspiracy and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of £100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Pounds).
